One of the great things about owning a Vita-Mix blender, and trust me there are many, is that you can basically throw whatever the hell you want into it and it’ll come out silky smooth. For lunch today, I had a few left over neander balls and a green ooga-booga smoothie. The recipe is super simple, healthy, and tastes fantastic. And, you’d never know it had spinach it if it weren’t bright green.
Green ooga-booga smoothie:
1 cup baby spinach leaves
1 cup Simply Apple apple juice or other apple juice of your choice
1 cup frozen peaches
Put all ingredients into blender and blend on high for about a minute. If you don’t have a vitamix, you’re going to have to add more liquid to cope with the thickness of the spinach and peaches.
